I am a political scientist and postdoctoral researcher in Politics of Diversity and Inequality at the University of Amsterdam. Before that, I was research fellow and lecturer at the Department for European Policy and the Study of Democracy at the University of Krems (Austria), as well as lecturer at the University of Vienna (Austria) and the Justus Liebig University of Giessen (Germany).

My research areas are Politics of Diversity and Inequality, Democracy and Political Participation as well as LGBTIQ+/ Queer Politics. I have been working in various interdisciplinary and international projects that deal with European democracy and citizenship as well as political participation, activism and representation of LGBTIQ+ citizens.

In the academic year 2021/2022 I was Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
