I am a political scientist, research fellow and lecturer at the Department for European Policy and the Study of Democracy at the University of Continuing Education Krems (Austria), as well as an external lecturer at the University of Vienna (Austria) and the Justus Liebig University of Giessen (Germany).
I received my PhD from the Department of Political Science at Justus Liebig University Giessen in 2022, after obtaining a BA and a MA in Political Science from the University of Vienna. My PhD in political science at Justus Liebig University of Giessen (Germany) deals with political participation of LGBTIQ citizens in Germany and bridges conventional political participation research and queer studies.
My research interests are European Democracy, Political Participation and Queer Politics. I have been working in various interdisciplinary and international projects that deal with European democracy and citizenship as well as political participation, activism and representation of LGBTIQ citizens.
In the academic year 2021/2022 I was Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
