Dr. Michael Hunklinger

I am a political scientist and author based in Vienna. Currently I am Senior Scientist at the University of Krems. Before that, I have worked at different universities in Germany, the US and the Netherlands.

My research areas are Politics of Diversity and Inequality, Democracy and Political Participation as well as LGBTIQ+/ Queer Politics. I have been working in various interdisciplinary and international projects that deal with European democracy and citizenship as well as political participation, activism and representation of LGBTIQ+ citizens.
